In order to support our continued growth we are looking for a talented Sales Executive to join our successful and highly motivated Food & Beverage team. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for working with the Sales Manager to provide an excellent level of customer service throughout and post the sales cycle. It is an opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Sales Executive to develop professional relationships with existing customers as well as create new opportunities through outbound activities. We are very focused on building our customer base and reputation and need professional team members with customer service as a key responsibility. This is a role that will allow you to build your sales skills such as solution selling and development of value propositions but also provide sales support to your Sales Manager. You will also generate your own opportunities and win contracts within your territory. Your Sales Manager will guide you in managing a portfolio of existing installed customers where you will work with your Sales Manager by selling into whitespace and leverage customer satisfaction to assist in additional sales and ensure customer retention.
Your goal is to provide an exceptional level of sales service to prospective and existing customers and sell industry solutions and related services to prospective customers in the Food & Beverage industry. You will learn and develop forecasting and reporting skills, sales lifecycle, opportunity and account management to support our Food & Beverage community. You will work with Sales Management and Solution Engineers to develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects and learn to create strong business value propositions that will ultimately best position you to formulate contractual agreements to close the sale.
The main office location will be in Auckland or Sydney

You have:
- 1-2 years sales experience (ideally with focus on the Food and Beverage industry).
- Strong “can do” customer service attitude and an interest in IT solutions to support industry.
- Previous experience in a customer service area
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills combined with a team mentality is a must.
- A desire to learn and be part of a successful team that is disrupting the industry
- Ability to be solely responsible for managing the relationship through the entire sales cycle.
- Ability to communicate, sell and close business at various levels
- Drive, tenacity, and an abundance of enthusiasm with a large dose of creativity.
You might also have:
• Other relative experience selling to the Hospitality industry
• Experience selling Cloud/SaaS solutions.
• Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle’s competitors.
• Supervisory/Management experience in a Food & Beverage operation.

An mid-level sales position targeting small-to-medium sized businesses. The SMB Sales Rep works to achieve maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the company’s products and/or related services.
Qualify business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry. Consult and sell products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects, and recommending solutions. Research and analyze sales options, and close deals.
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. Works under general supervision. 2 years of related experience. Ability to communicate effectively with high level decision makers. Ability to work independently.
