Job Description
Oracle is looking for an experienced Front End Developer with experience of Email Marketing and an interest in expanding into other channels. The role works alongside out Technical Consultants and Solution Architects providing Front End Elements for email and web solutions. These solutions are delivered through Oracle Marketing suite of products including Responsys, Eloqua and Content & Experience.

The Responsibilities

Produce hand-coded HTML files from designs with incorporated CSS for Email

Adapt for Oracle Marketing Cloud applications (Responsys, Eloqua, Maxymiser)

Assist with the development of online experiences through website development (Oracle Content and Experience, Oracle Commerce)

Collaborate with designers, clients, project managers and other developers to solve strategic projects

Develop multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with varying timelines

Present and articulate technical decisions to clients

Develop trust with clients through industry knowledge, strategic planning and ability to effectively communicate solutions

Maintain a high level of attention to detail

Research and stay on top of digital industry trends

Develop own skills on platforms, frameworks and languages
Skills & Experience required
-
Experience in HTML / CSS for Email and template creation
-
Experience with version control tools e.g. SVN, GIT
-
Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks e.g. Knockout, Angular, React, Vue, SPAs
-
Knowledge of JQuery library and JSON data interchange format
-
Familiarity with front-end build tools e.g. Grunt, Gulp
-
Proficiency working from design files using Photoshop, InDesign or similar

Proactive communication internally as well as with client

Knowledge of design principles, user experience and user interface
Position requirements

3 years of Front end email experience

Expert in developing table based HTML/CSS email campaigns

Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign or similar

Aptitude for independent problem solving

Excellent verbal and written communication
Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices. Demonstrates expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements. May lead the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget. May act as the team lead on projects, providing coaching, guidance and feedback to develop skills of team members. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations. Participates in business development activities. Develops and leads detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.
6-8 years of experience relevant to this position including 3-4 years consulting experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
