We are looking for an experienced developer to join our team in order to develop web applications using JavaScript, CSS, and HTML5.

Our team, Oracle Application Labs – New Initiatives (OAL NI) designs, develops and extends sales applications. Oracle sales reps and managers use our applications to better manage information stored within the system and optimize sales related processes.

You will work on key projects in CRM and Customer Engagement Solutions for different departments within Oracle. We are using the latest technology from Oracle Cloud, contributing to Oracle's vision to move to the cloud with specific focus on CX Suite of projects. Requirements:
·      BS or higher in Computer Science or related field
·      Hands-on experience with JavaScript, Ajax, and git
·      Experience with mobile and responsive design
·      Experience with REST API
·      Knowledge of SQL, TypeScript, or Java is a plus
·      Write code that meets our standards and delivers the desired functionality with minimal complexity using the selected technologies
·      Open to learning new languages, techniques and tools
·      Ability to take ownership of smaller tasks and deliver without supervision, but also not afraid to seek help when necessary
·      Interact with other developers around the globe (US, Mexico, India)
·      Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will perform high-level design based on provided external specifications. Specify, design and implement minor changes to existing software architecture. Build highly complex enhancements and resolve complex bugs. Build and execute unit tests and unit plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering as necessary to discuss minor changes to product functionality and to ensure quality and consistency across specific products.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
