Front End Developer

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

 

Expert level development and delivery of customer experience test campaigns. Proactive and vocal member of agile team. Delivery of development work using the best practises, coding techniques, and standards. Constant improvement of team efficiency, participation in team mentoring and code reviews.

 

Desired Skills and Experience

 

•        University degree in a computer science or related field.

•        A proven track record that shows your excellence as Frontend Developer.

•        Development knowledge\:

o   Strong pure cross-browser JavaScript

o   Excellent understanding of JavaScript OOP, DOM, DOM events, HTML5 APIs

o   Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS

o   Strong understanding of programming logic, standards, and constructs

•        English, upper intermediate (compulsory)

•        Well organized, and efficient user of their own time

•        Problem solving\: able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and make recommendations

 

Nice to have\:

•        Experience with agile development & continuous delivery

•        AngularJS or ReactJS experience

 


Product\:

Maximyser\: part of the Oracle Marketing Cloud LOB – cloud based software which enables organisations (marketeers) to test/target/personalise what a customer sees when they visit the website. Powerful technology. This team (which is technically a customer facing consulting team) modify customer websites to enable them to show different users different versions of the websites (eg according to their customer profile). Customers are global, large enterprises with websites that get millions of hits/visitors. Many of their customers are major banks and retailers. This team works with US based customers.

Intermediate consulting position operating independently with some assistance and guidance to provide quality work products to a project team or customer that comply with Oracle methodologies and practices. Performs standard duties and tasks with some variation to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer specifications.

Standard assignments are accomplished without assistance by exercising independent judgment, within defined policies and processes, to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements.

2-5 years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
