Oracle Applications Labs (OAL) is part of Oracle Product Development Organization. OAL is responsible for implementing, running, and improving nearly all of Oracle's Enterprise Applications\: CRM, HCM, Financials, SCM, you name it. We use Oracle's own real-life business requirements as a "test bed" for innovation. Within OAL, the Customer Data Management and Integration team works on latest Oracle technologies to provide high class integration between different systems/applications enabling the end to end critical business process. Working closely with functional and business experts, you will design and develop bridges to provide end to end solutions using SQL, PL/SQL, Fusion Tech stack (Oracle Integration Cloud - ICS, PCS, OSB, ODI) Core Java, Spring Boot, Cloud Native - Kubernetes, Docker), OJET, ADF and APEX.

Work with Oracle world class technology to design, develop, implement, and support Oracle global application infrastructure support Oracle Business.

As a member of the IT organization, the new team member will assist with the analysis, design, development, modifications, debugging, and evaluation of programs for use in internal systems within a specific functional area.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation.

• Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures

• BS or equivalent experience in programming on enterprise or department servers or systems

• Candidate should have 3-4 or more years of hands on development experience

This role has primary focus on developing and enhancing Oracle applications and it's integration with internal applications (A2A) and external business (B2B). In this role you will be expected to work on multiple technologies and a variety of product challenges. This also involves collaborating directly with Oracle business end users on providing complex solutions to meet the business process needs by implementing complex solutions, developing applications, extensions, workflows, reports etc.

Ideal Candidate should have/demonstrated\:

- In depth knowledge and experience in Java

- Knowledge of or experience with OJET or React or Angular, Spring Boot framework, XML, Rest Services, SQL

- Knowledge of Cloud native technology (Docker, Kubernetes, Istio) - Nice to have

- Knowledge of Public Cloud based application development and Integration experience - Nice to have

- Experience with Agile methodology

- Knowledge of maven, GIT, Jenkins and other tools supporting devops while implementing CICD

- Good aptitude and analytical skills

- Have track record of working in all of areas of software development life cycle (Requirement, Functional and technical design, Development, deployment and production support)

- Good Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to deliver effectively as part of team as well as independently

- Ability to mentor junior colleagues and lead initiatives

!|!Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will perform high-level design based on provided external specifications. Specify, design and implement minor changes to existing software architecture. Build highly complex enhancements and resolve complex bugs. Build and execute unit tests and unit plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering as necessary to discuss minor changes to product functionality and to ensure quality and consistency across specific products.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
