Job Description

Location: Dublin (remote/flexible work)

The Oracle Digital Experience development team are looking for a talented Web Developer to work in our Dublin, Ireland office. You will join a team that is responsible for designing and building Web UI’s as part of Oracle‘s Cloud Services for the communication industry. Candidates should come with a willingness to learn and demonstrate a keen interest to explore new and cutting edge technologies

Required Skills

•       You will be a recent graduate who has excelled in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Cloud Computing or other related field

•       Demonstrate solid user interface design and programming experience with JavaScript, CSS, HTML, XML, REST API, Knockout, npm/node

•       Experience with designing Cloud software applications and user interfaces

•       Experience with Single-Page Application design

•       Possess good written and oral communication skills

•       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

•       Strong Java software development experience with expertise in Web UI design and implementation.

•       Eligibility to work in Ireland without sponsorship is essential

 

Additional skills and experience that would make you a standout candidate.

•       Knowledge and experience with Karma, Jasmine, Cucumber, Express and Selenium

•       Experience with J2EE application technologies (XSLT/XQuery, WebLogic) and Oracle Database

•       Good Telecom domain knowledge

•       Experience in modern DevOps practices & tools including CI/CD, Jenkins, containers, Kubernetes etc.

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will use basic knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture.

Work involves some problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. Gaining competence in own area and acquiring a higher level understanding of role, processes and procedures. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 0-2 years of previous software engineering or related experience.
