Amazon China is looking for a seasoned and exceptional HRBP to support our core business teams located in Shanghai. In this position, you will partner with business leaders to develop HR strategies and execute activities that foster organizational and people effectiveness. The HR BP will serve as a liaison between business and central corporate teams to assess the human resource needs in the areas such as workforce planning, performance management, compensation & benefits, talent management, leadership development and culture steward, employee relations and engagement.
To be successful, you must understand the business units you are supporting, the role will require to leverage data insights to establish HR priorities and operating mechanisms to drive changes. Additionally, you will need to be able to roll up your sleeves and dive deep into details of organizational needs. The individual in this role must be able to interact effectively with professionals at all levels of the organization, with excellent communication skills, strong thinking and planning capability, good project management, and is a quick leaner who has the ability to thrive and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities:
· Applied business knowledge to work with leadership team and central corporate HR team to develop and drive organization and people plans & solutions.
· Partner with leaders on organizational design, strategic workforce planning, succession planning, talent management, competency development and assessment.
· Review and analyze business and people metrics including data on retention and employee experience in order to recommend systemic improvements.
· Draw insights from data to improve processes, employee engagement, workplace environment and policy alignment across the business teams.
· Provide management coaching to business leaders, and help drive new leader onboarding in line with Amazon’s leadership principles.
· Provide compensation counseling and supports to management teams: salary planning, salary actions, promotions Loop competencies etc.
· Partner with the labor legal counsel and ER to ensure policies and procedures are in compliance.
· Assess business unit’s human resources training needs, support the design and delivery of appropriate training and development programs.
· Partner with international HR team to support group of initiatives and local implementations.
