DESCRIPTION

Be an active business partner

The HR Consultant will partner with a designated business group in Oracle Spain, becoming the 360º advisor with all HR related matters. You will partner with the different HR vertical functions (Talent acquisition Compensation & Benefits, Development) as well as with the international Human Business Partners and our internal Operations teams. Your expertise in local processes and close management of your business will make the perfect combo to become together the perfect advisor for your internal customers. The Human Resources Consultant works as part of the Spanish team located and reports to the Country HR Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The role is exposed to and will be expected to deliver against the complete range of HR support and advice, covering Employee Relations, Transformational Process, Organizational Development and Talent Management.
  • Acts as a single point of the contact for the managers in one or several business divisions
  • Establish and maintain effective business relationships within the organization to support HR effectiveness
  • Implements the HR Strategy in close cooperation with line managers and the HR Business Partner and proactively supports the delivery of HR Processes 
  • Support and manage the relevant function’s employee relations (including grievances & discipline) strategy and process to support effective employee engagement in line with corporate ethics and values.
  • Facilitates and coaches managers to bring the best solutions for employees
  • Educate managers on available HR tools, programs, resources
  • Acts as the performance improvement driver and provokes positive changes in the people management
  • Prepares and assists in putting into practice of reorganizational measures
  • Cooperates and supports in negotiations for all HR-relevant issues

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

The Human Resources Consultant  should have the necessary mixture of technical HR knowledge and a great deal of common sense. As well as:

  • BA/BS degree or Human Resources/Legal Qualification and 5-7 years HR experience in a dynamic fast paced commercial organization, preferably in the ICT industry
  • Experience with working within a complex, global business environment
  • Able to establish and maintain respect & credibility  
  • Solid understanding of the local labor legislation and experience in handling disciplinary situations, dismissals, redundancies and grievances
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Self-confident, proactive
  • Enjoy working in an innovative, ever changing environment
  • Possesses good organizational skills, attention to details and strong analytical skills
  • Delivery focused and ability to work independently

Ability to travel. 5 years generalist experience and BA/BS degree. Experience in an HR specialty a plus.
