Job Description

The Oracle HR team is a results-oriented team that works with leaders to help make Oracle a great place to work. We are a team of skilled human resource professionals who enjoy working in a collaborative environment within a fast-paced, dynamic, and innovative technology organization.

We're looking for a HR leader/Specialist to join our team. In this role as an IC, you will handle daily HR activities including employee engagement, culture, analytics, employee relations, workforce planning, organizational development. 

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the understanding of Thai labour laws and adapting it to create an robust organization. Key skills and abilities include agility, growth mindset, curiosity, coaching, influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, analysis, and problem solving.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements - Internal

  • Partners with business units/divisions in delivering Corporate and Divisional HR policies and programs.
  • Join a leading HR group consulting with management and employees on HR practices and procedures. Manage employee relations issues and conduct investigations in support of corporate ethics and values. Participate in company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., manpower planning, salary/bonus/stock review, organizational change, performance management, and training assessment).#
  • Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization.
  • Key skills and abilities include coaching, influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, analysis, and problem solving. Ability to travel. 15 years generalist experience and BA/BS degree. Experience in an HR specialty a plus.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate and support business leadership and the broader HR team to implement HR plans and solutions to achieve business initiatives and deliver results.
  • Support the leaders and prepare and present HR data to help drive business strategic objectives and story- telling to the business.
  • Partner with leaders, at multiple levels, and their teams to support and execute HR initiatives and activities that cultivate growth, innovation and organizational efficiency. This includes implementing programs, processes and tools to help set up managers and employees for success.
  • Assist managers and the broader HR team in areas such as performance management, employee relations, compensation, career development, and drive appropriate solutions for these activities.
  • Drive an creative HR culture and nurture and help talent navigate their journey within Oracle.
  • Build credibility and trust among employees & leaders of all levels.
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned which may include supporting and implementing initiatives locally keeping the global theme in mind
  • This role requires the person to provide strategic HR partnering  with all stakeholders in Thailand.
  • Act as a bridge to resolve employee / and or management concerns.
  • Coach business managers on HR related issues.
  • Provide advisory services to business managers to enable them to achieve their goals. Prepare, analyses, and share diagnostics to the business periodically on HR related issues.
  • Act as an internal communication agent.
  • Manage Employee Relations.
  • Resolve employee concerns and manage escalations
  • New Hire Onboarding: design & facilitate country HR on boarding and collaborate with CHR for delivery
  • Understand pulse of employees and makes sense of situations through various interactions to provide “ear to the ground” report to the HR and business managers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters degree in HR/Psychology, or MBA
  • 15+ years of HR-related experience
  • You have the ability to achieve results in a fast-paced environment and navigate leaders through a variety of organizational changes.
  • Able to handle workflow, with minimal oversight, in a fast-paced environment with multiple and sometimes changing priorities.
  • Applied knowledge of local thai labor laws and local employment laws. You have knowledge of HR policies, procedures, compliance and practices
  • Experience in supporting, executing and maintaining HR projects and programs.
  • Effective verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent computer skills including MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio & PowerPoint), and report preparation and updating.
  • Experience with HRIS/HCM systems.

Tactical

  • Manage end to end HR for an employee journey in Thailand.
  • PMS -  Orientation,  tracking,  Performance Enhancement Program, PIP, mid- year review.
  • Manager Round tables.
  • Implementation of global  HR Interventions
  • Investigate ER complaints and issues, and maintain compliance of Oracle policies.
  • Manage HR transactions and comply to Oracle policies, processes and systems
