HR Consultant - Employee Relations (m/f/x)

Job Profile & Tasks:
· Supporting and development of Employee Relations processes including the implementation of technical installations.
· Proactively working on a constructive and trustful relationship with co-determination committees.
· Operational and conceptual updating of existing regulations, e.g. works agreements, in line with new internal or external requirements.
· Continuous improvement of internal processes and tools.
· Working closely together with all local HR functions as well as EMEA Employee Relations in topics of collective right and co-determination bodies.
· Fulfillment of administrative and operative tasks for the purpose of reporting, status tracking and in preparation of the works council committees’ meetings.
· Supporting and participating in negotiations, incl. arbitration boards, and ER projects, which also includes technical installations.
· Communicating with the works council committees on all general inquiries, approval requests, staff meetings, works council resolutions and their elections.
· The role will require to work largely independent and self-reliant on the Employee Relations topics and projects in your area of responsibility, but with some assistance and guidance, while understanding and reliably applying company policies and procedures in the daily work routine.
Job Requirements:
· The Job requires practical experiences within the HR environment and with co-determination bodies, i.e. a solid understanding of (collective) labor law, Works Constitution Act.
· Key skills and abilities include creativity and adaptability, organizational talent and problem solving skills, analytical capabilities, negotiation experience and influencing skills, presentation skills as well as very good communication skills in German and English.
· You will fit our team most when you have a positive and hands-on attitude and when you are a team player with a customer-focused personality.
· A “must” is also an affinity for technical applications and a digital environment, as you will be dealing with many IT systems within a Self Service Environment.
· Some proven project management experience is preferred.
· Experience in working in dynamic matrix organizations, preferably in cross-country organized companies will be a plus.
Partners with business units/divisions in delivering Corporate and Divisional HR policies and programs.Join a leading HR group consulting with management and employees on HR practices and procedures. Manage employee relations issues and conduct investigations in support of corporate ethics and values. Participate in company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., manpower planning, salary/bonus/stock review, organizational change, performance management, and training assessment).
Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. Key skills and abilities include coaching, influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, analysis, and problem solving. Ability to travel. 5 years generalist experience and BA/BS degree. Experience in an HR specialty a plus.
