Job Description
Design Tech High School (d.tech) students will be placed into internships within the Oracle ecosystem for about four hours each day and will be unpaid during this time. Mentors define the projects their interns work on, in collaboration with OEF. OEF facilitates matching mentors and interns.

Internships represent the final level of Oracle Education Foundation (OEF) program – Level 4 – and are available only to d.tech seniors in good academic standing who have completed OEF classes in Levels 1-3. Internships will take place four times a year during d.tech Intersession, just like OEF classes. Internships will be 10 consecutive business days. Interns may participate for 3 - 8 hours/day. Internships are unpaid. Internships require that there be a Primary Mentor and a Second Mentor as backup, so that an Intern will never be unsupervised.

Internship responsibilities will vary by sponsoring Oracle organization; however, the following requirements will apply universally: Moderate to advanced technical proficiency. Reliability, punctuality, professional manner. Demonstrates ability for critical thinking and analysis. Collaborative and communication skills

As part of Oracle's employment process candidates will be required to successfully complete a pre-employment screening process. This will involve identity and employment verification, professional references, education verification and professional qualifications and memberships (if applicable).
