About The Team
Oracle Hardware Design Group in Shanghai, as one of the three Oracle worldwide hardware design centers, is looking for excellent hardware engineers (Interns) to join the Hardware Validation Team. We are responsible for hardware debug and validation on the sustaining and NPI work of Oracle Cloud infrastructure and Oracle Exadata servers. We are a fast-paced, high-energy group that is developing and implementing comprehensive DVT plans to verify newly developed and redesigned x86 based servers.

Key Responsivities
- Perform hardware testing to verify design and report design issues

- Other assigned tasks

Selection Criteria

A 6 months’ internship from July to December 2020 (Jul-Aug, need to work 5 workdays/week; Sep-Dec, at least 3 workdays/week)

• BS degree or higher in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related majors.

• Knowledge of x86 hardware architecture and design

• Working familiar with Linux

• Familiar in using programming languages such as C, Java/Javascript, perl/tcl/Python, and shell scripts

• Good analytical and problem solving skills

• Good written communication skill in English

#Below Knowledge and Skills will be a plus\:
- System administration/server administration experience
- Knowledge and experience in Unix shell scripting, DOS scripting, python
- Familiar with MSOffice type products (Excel, Project, Word)
