Job Description

Oracle Construction and Engineering industry Marketing team is looking for a bright, talented, and results-oriented marketing professional to lead our JAPAC Marketing team.  The head of JAPAC Marketing is responsible for defining and executing the marketing strategy to increase market share for Oracle Construction and Engineering solutions in ANZ, Japan, China, and ASEAN. You will be working with your team to create and execute Oracle Construction and Engineering's marketing and PR strategy for the region, launching integrated campaigns including digital marketing, events, PR, social media, customer marketing, and localization activities. 

Detailed Description

  • Create and manage integrated marketing plans for Japac that drive growth and support specific strategic initiatives and product launches

  • Direct and manage a team of 3 remote field marketers in delivery of marketing activities, including events, key account programs, digital marketing and advertising. 

  • Work closely with the sales leadership group and with senior members of the marketing team globally to create a regional marketing strategy and plan of activities.

  • Manages marketing resources and budget to be deployed using the most appropriate marketing mix for the geography.

  • Analyzes program metrics and trends to increase ROI on marketing.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate is passionate about B2B technology, thrives in a collaborative environment and has a minimum of 10 years’ experience building marketing/demand generation programs to successfully drive sales pipeline.

  • Minimum 10+ years of B2B SaaS marketing experience. Proficiency in all marketing communication disciplines, with emphasis on digital marketing and online advertising to build demand and create awareness within a diverse marketplace across multiple countries;

  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to work well with virtual teams. Proven ability to work closely and collaboratively with Executives, Field Sales, Inside Sales, Product Marketing, Strategy and other key internal stakeholders 

  • Leadership skills: able to motivate team members, regional colleagues, customers and stakeholders to execute the marketing plan for optimal achievement;

  • Excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to present complex ideas and influence leadership

  • Demonstrate resourcefulness, motivation, initiative.

  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment under tight deadlines.

  • Language skills: excellent command of the English language is required; proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is a plus 

  • Experience in construction technology marketing a plus

  • University/College degree in business/marketing /communications is required.

Plans, executes, and measures demand generation marketing programs that result in growth of sales pipeline and revenue for Field Sales organization.

Assist in the development and implementation of all field marketing activities within own business area to ensure achievement of short and long term business objectives, increased profit and market control. Be an active member of the global Marketing team to ensure consistency of strategic marketing programs. Disseminate key corporate information to the line-of-business and geography operations pertaining to new product development/launches. Act as a liaison with management to ensure that marketing activities are in support of sales plans. Direct marketing resources and budget to be deployed using the most appropriate marketing mix for the line-of-business and/or geography. Ensure consistency between global directions and single-geography and/or line-of-business implementation choices. Implement and monitor advertising campaigns on a line-of-business and/or geographical basis. Manage line-of-business/geographical social media strategy. Maintain necessary contact with major suppliers, agencies, customers, industry associations and government representatives to achieve marketing objectives. Provide effective performance management: set clear goals for all staff, provide regular feedback on performance and conduct a formal appraisal at the conclusion of the fiscal year. Manage the activities of the staff according to overall marketing strategies and budgets. Implement organizational changes in line with changing business & market needs.

Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Software business management experience. Sales and Marketing experience in the IT industry. E-business + Internet practical know-how. Professional credentials in Marketing, Academic credentials desirable. Past experience in Sales desirable.
