Job Description
Amazon Web Services (AWS), a subsidiary of Amazon.com and a global leader in Cloud Computing, is seeking an experienced and talented team leader, Head of Marketing Operations, Planning and Analysis, reporting to General Manager, Marketing, GCR. The role will be the key driver for all strategic planning and operational cadence for GCR Marketing covering China mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan. This is a unique opportunity to have a key marketing leadership role in the AWS business.
In this role, the successful candidate will lead an operation team and drive the following activities, including strategic marketing planning, reporting and performance management, systems and process automation, budget and procurement, lead management, customer insights and database, vendor management & security, overall operational cadencies cross the region.
The ideal candidate should be an experienced operations leader, a systematic and analytical thinker that has successfully built and/or managed marketing operations (from early stage to maturity) within a fast-growing, globally-focused B2B organization. The successful candidate will have proven financial management experience and marketing operations background, will be a process, systems and results-driven professional with strong passion for technology, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
This is a highly visible and critical position within AWS GCR Marketing and Global Field/Partner Marketing Operations organizations and it therefore requires a highly self-motivated talent.

Key job responsibilities
Strategic Marketing Planning
Ownership of the annual strategic planning process working closely with the corporate marketing, sales, finance, and business/marketing operations teams across the globe; Lead and manage the budget planning, management and procurement process and systems, manage the on-going assessment of campaign execution; Drive go-to-market strategy and transformational projects with the marketing teams

KPI/OKR Reporting & Performance Management
Define business analytics and manage dashboards and reports in order to measure all aspects of the business including database cleanliness, campaign effectiveness, pipeline contribution and overall business performance; Deliver measurement and reporting of all key business metrics and goals across all marketing stakeholders; Management of annual performance management model and build across GCR regions; Conduct regular marketing operations and campaign reviews in order to align marketing strategy with tactics and to ensure effective execution of marketing strategy, and drive follow-up actions for improvement to ROI

Systems, Tools & Process
Working with Corporate Marketing Team to enhance the marketing automation systems and tools; Drive cross-functional process improvement and projects that will result in improved efficiency of the team.

Lead Management
Manage, enhance and optimize the end-to-end lead management process in conjunction with sales and marketing stakeholders – including lead scoring, upload, routing, reporting, and performance management. Collaborate with marketing management to identify and implement processes to increase sales opportunities and sales cycle efficiencies through database management and refined lead management strategies.

Customer Insight and Database
Lead our data governance efforts, covering both customer and partner databases across GCR, including validating, cleansing, enriching and segmenting them in order to drive higher relevance, accuracy and effectiveness of marketing programs. Manage and provide data-driven research, insight and requirements to support multi-level segmentation of database – build culture of data-driven decision-based marketing. Develop and implement strategy for ongoing control, maintenance and enhancement of marketing database in the areas of - process, standards, access control, and documentation.

Vendor Management & Security
Optimize marketing vendor selection and onboarding process. Working with procurement, finance, compliance, and security team to ensure marketing vendors has met company standard compliance policy and provide marketing opportunity to negotiate and optimize vendor services.
