Your Role and Responsibilities

Responsibilities  
- Review solution architecture and make recommendations.
- Ability to review code and make security recommendations on security improvements.
- Be responsible for all improvements of all aspects of software engineering —from design to implementation, QA and maintenance.
- Perform at a high level in an Agile team and environment.   
- Write and perform unit, integration, and acceptance tests.
- Work and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Introduction

IBM CISO is looking to build a remediation team to work on post-incident architecture and design. The individuals on this team are expected to work across the various business units and customers globally. Individual must have extensive experience in working in Fortune 100 companies, complex software projects ranging varying duration lengths.

This person must be able to work independent. Must be able to review design flaws a software system and make suggestions on how to improve the security posture, remove vulnerabilities and design flaws.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

4+ years experience in development technologies (Java, React, Redux, DB2, PostgreSQL)
Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
In depth understanding of data structures and algorithms.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Open communicators not afraid to express truths.
Ability to share in work with others.
A team player - we succeed as A team and we fail as A team.
Expertise in working Agile and IBM Design Language.
Extensive experience with IBM’s processes and procedures.
Working knowledge of security best practices.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

Working knowledge of cybersecurity forensics.
Working knowledge of networking technologies.
