Principal Peoplesoft DBA\: Job Responsibilities\: · Install/upgrade PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 (Sun, Linux, Windows) · Manage People Soft Environments Database and Application Environments\: Database\: memory structures, processes, storage structures, schema). Administer users and security. Manage backup, recovery and migration of the databases. Manage table space and perform capacity planning following documented procedures. Application Environments\: PUM Update, Tools Patching, Tools Upgrade, CPU patching · Perform performance tuning and optimization following documented procedures. · Push database/application patches and other upgrades following documented procedures. Manage changes to the environment using best practices Change Management workflow. · Support the service by identifying the cause of customer or system escalations and by independently resolving all the issues related to the Oracle database, middleware, People Soft Applications and other products mentioned above. Mentor, train and coach the junior DBAs in the team in isolating the issue, identifying the probable causes of the issue and solving the issue. · Collaborate with Product Support team, Product Development team, Global Information Technology team, Infrastructure monitoring team and Storage team to minimize the occurrence of the issues, proactively identify the issues before the customers identify them, to enhance the performance of the application and to keep the database highly available. · · Optimize the service operations using the latest Oracle tools and products.
Candidate Qualifications\: Mandatory · 7 to 9 years of strong PeopleSoft DBA experience with BS Computer Science or equivalent qualification from a reputed Institute along with good grades. · Production support experience with Oracle 11g/12c database, and expertise with Oracle’s RAC, ASM and RMAN as a core DBA. · Good Knowledge on Incidents/Request and CHANGE MANAGEMENT process
Preferred · Experience with Oracle middleware technologies like OAM, OIM, IDM, WLS

As a member of the IT organization, assist with the analyze of existing complex programs and formulate logic for new complex internal systems. Prepare flowcharting, perform coding, and test/debug programs. Develop conversion and system implementation plans. Recommend changes to development, maintenance, and system standards.
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. BS or equivalent experience in programming on enterprise or department servers or systems.
