Job Description
Reporting to the Senior Information Technology Manager (Section Head), the incumbent will assume the following:
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the section head in daily operations of the IT application team (System / Business Analyst)
- Maintain smooth operation of IT application, application databases and the supporting IT application infrastructure
- Participate in the service and product procurement process, including co-ordinating endusers’ requirements, preparing tender documents etc
- Manage large scale IT application project
- Monitor vendors’ performance and service delivery
- Manage application development, implementation and maintenance processes
- Conduct users’ training and provide users’ support
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or related disciplines
- At least 8 years’ relevant experience in IT system development and well versed in IT application infrastructure
- Minimum 5 years’ experience preferably as a practitioner of SDLC, SSADM, Prince 2 and SCRUM methodologies
- Experience as a business analyst role supporting business reengineering process
- Solid experience in handling tendering documentation, preferably gained in sizeable / public organizations
- Track record in managing large scale IT application project. PMP Certified is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate with multi-stakeholders and endusers of all levels
- Strong command of spoken and written English and Chinese
