Job Description

Oracle Spain, being part of an international company, is looking for an intern to join and collaborate with the Advanced Customer Services team based in Spain!

A future member attracted by projects related to modernization and automatization of tools used by Advanced Services. He/she will work directly within the ES Database, Systems and Middleware teams, which is part of an EMEA structure (Europe Middle East and Africa).

Scope / projects

 

  • Automate some recurring services using tools such as APEX, industrialize qualification criteria used to estimate the number of days needed to deliver some activities such as Oracle software patching.
  • Organize/create a documentary repository: Consolidate source of knowledge and tools for experts within Confluence (wiki like) in collaboration with the community of Advanced Services Engineer and the Technical Account Managers.
  • Help to create and centralize technical documents used by and for the community of Oracle Database, Engineered Systems and middleware experts.
  • Assist in a Kubernetes based lab creation for Weblogic, Coherence and Helidon and SpringBoot Microservices on Kubernetes.
  • Assist in a Vagrant based lab creation for DevOps products (Ansible, Jenkins, Grafana, ELK).
  • Standardization of automation processes through PowerShell (SSH, Ansible, Sqlplus, Oracle .NET, etc).

 

Profile / Qualifications



  • Profile Bac +3/4Engineering school in Computer Science or related degree discipline from University
  • Programming language: Python. HTML/JavaScript/JQuery/Java would be a plus.
  • DevOps skills (Docker, Kubernetes, Containers,...) would be a plus.
  • Technical skills: Linux and Shell (Bash) and usual commands would be a plus. A good understanding of Confluence is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Self-motivated and resourceful, with adaptability and agility to discover new tools and interact with various colleagues and contact points.
  • Character full of energy and creativity.
  • Ability (taste for) and will to work in a team and face challenges.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English (880/990 TOEIC).
