Oracle is
looking for a J2EE Architect/Tech Lead to drive key projects and strategic
initiatives in the Oracle Store Platform. The ideal candidate will have
experience driving enterprise solutions
in the areas of J2EE, distributed architecture, application architecture, SOA
and full lifecycle implementation of IT systems. Must possess a proven
ability to operate across organizations to
drive common approaches. Should have 12 to 15 years’ experience in full
lifecycle development. BS or MS degree
or equivalent experience also required. Hands-on experience with frameworks
such as Spring, Hibernate, struts and JSF along with strong background in
security and implementation of role-based access is essential.

Oracle Store is an eCommerce platform for selling Oracle’s products and
services to its customers and partners.
It is a one stop place for the consumers to create, view and manage various
transactions such as purchase SW, HW
and Cloud based services as well as track orders, subscribe memberships in
various Oracle Programs, renew support,
manage cloud subscriptions and so on. These are modern, intuitive and
mobile-friendly/responsive web applications,
designed to run on Oracle DB and utilize many cutting edge Oracle technologies
to interact with our various systems
like Oracle E-Business Suite R12, Oracle Fusion and others.
Requirements
- Prior experience in Architect role serving large teams
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related
subject
- 12 to 15 years of software development experience
- 7 years experience in J2EE environment
- Strong background and experience in technologies &
frameworks such as\:
◦Spring, Struts, JSF, Dojos, Ajax
◦EJB, JSP, Servlets, RMI
◦XML, SOAP, REST, UDDI
◦Application Servers such as WebSphere,
WebLogic, Tomcat, JBoss
◦WebSphere Portal, Liferay,
WebLogic/WebCenter
- Development of applications using development tools such
as intelliJ, Eclipse etc.
- Experience in complex and successful implementation of end
to end integrations involving multiple applications having multiple
stakeholders
- Experience in working with different architecture and
design patterns involving multiple technologies
- Experience with driving functional solution and technical
design/implementation of complex projects
- Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills
Beneficial skills
- Experience in working with Microservices
- Experience in Oracle SQL, PLSQL with integrations among
multiple systems is a plus
- Experience in developing UI applications using HTML,
OJET/React JS, Javascript
- Experience in developing interfaces with backoffice
applications is a plus
- Experience in Webservices
- Experience with GIT, Jenkins, CI/CD processes is a plus
- Knowledge of Dockers and Kubernetes is a plus
- Experience with UNIX shell scripts and configure with
software/tools

As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 1 year of software engineering or related experience.
