JAPAN Content Marketing Communication Specialist
 

You will refine and advance our Japanese editorial/content vision and mission and help plan, produce, and analyse the campaigns we create for the Japanese market. This role will be the creative lead behind all our online and offline campaigns and customer stories for our prospects and customers.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with JAPAC marketing content and marketing automation group to produce relevant content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our Japanese audience. Including white papers, articles, customer stories, videos, blogs, emails and banner ads.
  • Determine sources for Japanese content creation, both internally and externally. Work with external agencies and internal demand generation teams to produce campaign and customer content.
  • Serve as an exemplary communicator, consistent with our company’s tone and mission both internally and externally.
  • Edit content produced by your JAPAC marketing teammates in Japanese, including conceptualising and localising the messaging to the Japanese target audience and copy-editing prior to publishing digitally.
  • Align with Customer reference team and PR in identifying customers for case studies, videos and speaking engagements. Manage the customer process
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and customer challenges in order to build a more effective customer success stories and relevant campaigns for the Japanese audience.
  • Act as the campaign manager for Japan, determining content to be used for campaigns, managing translations if required and process management with marcom.
  • Ability to use an email campaign management system such as Eloqua.
  • Manage the campaign calendar for Japan and all associated translation projects.
  • Analyze the success of each campaign and NS events and propose creative new improvements to the customers’ experience. (tone / manner / visual etc…)
  • Responsible for maintaining centralised repository of presentations & messaging documents for the Japan team

 

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient in both English and Japanese written and verbal skills.
  • Preferable to have email campaign management skills in Eloqua or similar email program
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent working experience.
  • Past experience producing content for the web specifically, as well as channel-specific knowledge (blog, Newsletter, LinkedIn, etc.) and customer stories / case study writing.
  • Past experience building audiences either online or offline.
  • You’re highly creative and an excellent communicator.
Plans, executes, and measures demand generation marketing programs to grow sales pipeline and revenue for Field Sales organization.

Meets with Sales leaders to create strategic marketing plan in support of Sales pipeline and revenue objectives. Participant in regular pipeline and forecast review meetings. Develops and implements tactical marketing programs in conjunction with Sales, Channels, Product Marketing, Product Management, Oracle Direct (Telesales), and external influencers such as user groups and industry trade associations. Provides onsite execution support for marketing programs. Tracks lead flow to ensure the appropriate Sales channels are following up with event attendees and campaign responders in a timely manner. Creates and manages program budget, measures ROI through metrics analysis and reporting.

Proven track record executing multi-faceted event programs. Excellent interpersonal skills. Able to engage customers in dialogue about their business needs and IT solutions. Excellent written and verbal skills, and ability to work on far-flung virtual teams. Understands principles of Sales business/revenue/pipeline management. Moderate technical and strategic understanding of Technology, Applications, and Industry solutions being marketed. Attention to detail and discipline to follow established policies and processes from event design to execution to lead flow.
