Oracle Applications Labs (OAL) is responsible for implementing and supporting the application solutions that allow Oracle to run its business.
The Group develops enhancements based on our experience, and shares best practices with customers by working closely with product development teams.
The Group is responsible to implement, maintain, upgrade and extend almost all the modules of Oracle applications. We are also working on developing new products which will work as plug and play with Oracle Applications.

Responsibilities:
We are currently seeking a talented and energetic Java developer to join our OAL team and work from our Guadalajara, Mexico office.
This individual will work in an individual contributor role and implement, customize, enhance & test Oracle Incentive Compensation, SCA and CPT modules.

Being part of the OAL team provides opportunity to work on the latest Oracle technologies.
It also provides opportunities to interact with Oracle’s Product Development and Business User groups of Oracle, thus providing unique scope for learning both applications technology and functional business processes.

Skills/Experience:

 

•  Graduate/Post Graduate with strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Min.4 years of working experience in coding, debugging and testing skills in Java
• Must have hands on experience developing API (Restful API Development)
• Must have  hands on experience into Kafka
• Nice to have  experience in Agile Methodology/ Framework.
• Ability to provide and implement technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problem
• Working experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
•  Good written and oral communication skills.
• Self-motivated with demonstrated investigative and troubleshooting skills
• Working experience and functional knowledge of Oracle ERP Applications are a plus

Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will perform high-level design based on provided external specifications. Specify, design and implement minor changes to existing software architecture. Build highly complex enhancements and resolve complex bugs. Build and execute unit tests and unit plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering as necessary to discuss minor changes to product functionality and to ensure quality and consistency across specific products.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
