The team is responsible for Oracle Cluster Registry, Cluster Activity Log, REST APIs for Oracle Clusterware, in addition to several infrastructure components such as Grid Infrastructure Communication Layer and FAN Events.

Clusterware is part of the infrastructure that manages DB instances on Exadata DB and Exadata Cloud Customer, Exadata Cloud Services, and Autonomous Database offering on Oracle Cloud. Our value is ensuring users get very high availability and no downtime.

As members of the team, we are responsible for revamping existing algorithms for scalability and availability. We want to detect and correct errors before customers see them and can provide accurate diagnostics when we cannot correct them. Requirements:

• Exposure to Java Frameworks
• Good knowledge of Web Services Rest/Soap.
• Advanced algorithm knowledge. - IT infrastructure knowledge.
• OOP Design Patterns
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools.
• Familiar with scripting (Python)
• Excellent analytic troubleshooting capabilities and problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
