Campaign Services is a team comprised of Campaign Specialists who are pivotal members of the Oracle Marketing Cloud services team. Campaign Specialists build and deploy cross-channel marketing campaigns on behalf of our clients with quality being the number one concern. We are instrumental in serving the OMC client base, achieving their marketing needs, and becoming an extension of their marketing team.
Campaign Services works on many different projects ranging from simple promotional emails to highly dynamic data driven automation with cross-channel orchestration. We typically engage with our clients in three different ways: Ongoing full-service support, project based, or consultative knowledge transfer.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build, test and launch simple to highly advanced email campaigns and interactive programs using the OMC platform.
- Review project requests from clients to determine how best to implement using established processes and best practices
- Scope production requirements for custom projects.
- Review SOW
- Review business requirements and estimates.
- Peer review probationary staff
- Perform quality control checks and best practices to produce work that is error-free.
- Working with HTML email assets and perform modifications where necessary.
- Creating recipient lists, uploading into platform and creating list filter selections.
- Manage competing priorities
- Accountability for resolving and troubleshooting campaign issues.
- Understand and implement solutions to achieve marketing goals of assigned clients
- Identify opportunities to improve and implement production processes.
- Lead new account on-boarding(warm up)
- Provide expert consultation to internal and external stakeholders remotely or on site.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- 2 - 3 years hands on experience working with Eloqua or Responsys platforms. Other similar platform experience may be considered.
- Experience building and deploying complex highly dynamic data driven email campaigns.
- Holds an IT degree in Web Development.
- Solid experience working with HTML (hand code only, no WYSIWYG editors) and CSS.
- Solid experience debugging advance HTML rendering issues and working with Responsive Design.
- Have strong understanding of cross-browser/platform issues and code solutions
- Experience performing back-end SQL scripting with sound knowledge of relational database.
- Experience using XML/XLST
- Experience using MS Expression, Dreamweaver and Photoshop
- Exceptional attention to details
- Excellent at managing competing priorities
- Proactive problem solving capabilities
- Client facing experience with excellent communication (both verbal and written)
- Advantageous to have image slicing experience but not mandatory.
- Advantageous to have Javascript experience but not mandatory.
Standard assignments are accomplished without assistance by exercising independent judgment, within defined policies and processes, to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements.
2-5 years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
