Oracle NetSuite provides #1 suite cloud-based financials / Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and commerce software that runs the business of more than 40,000 companies, organizations, and subsidiaries in more than 200 countries.

NetSuite has been a part of Oracle since 2017 when a big acquisition happed. Within the Oracle product portfolio, NetSuite's sales and product development has been accelerated and we are hiring talented product mangers for our office in Brno.

The NetSuite culture has a big team focus. You will work closely with your fellow Product Manager, Developer, Software Test Engineer, Technical Writer and UX Designer teammates, supporting each other in achieving the team goals. Be proactive and independent, we will help you grow!

 

Summary:

Oracle NetSuite is looking for a talented Product Manager with accounting/financial background to help evolve our ERP team in Brno to globally support mid-sized and small businesses. Your responsibilities will include understanding customer needs, gathering and documenting requirements, and working with world-class product teams locally and in the U.S. to design and deliver the features necessary to compete in the global ERP market. This position is critical to the growth and success of NetSuite.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Deeply understand customer needs through quantitative and qualitative market research. Passionately represent the voice of the customer to internal teams.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog by making smart, decisive tradeoffs using data-driven analysis and sound judgment.
  • Create use cases, user stories, and detailed product requirements documents that clearly articulate desired product functionality.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, User Experience, Development, QA, and Documentation teams to deliver great, innovative products to our customers.
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, Professional Services and Support to successfully roll out our products and ensure a great end-to-end customer experience.  

 

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Passion to learn new things and collaborate across multiple teams and locations
  • Familiar with ERP systems and key business processes, as a user, would be an advantage
  • Accounting and Financial background and good overview of key business workflows, previous Accounting related experience would be an advantage
  • Ability to understand customer needs and deliver great solutions with a great user experience.
  • Self-starter who can work as a team member both locally and at U.S. headquarters
  • Excellent (English) communication skills and the ability to clearly document product requirements
  • University graduating in 2023 or 12 months after graduating

Work as part of a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.

As a member of the product development division, you will define product specifications and or strategy including build vs. buy business case. Gather and analyze information to define product specifications and review design specifications. Communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and foster relationships with other groups. Establish and manage relationships with SW alliance partners and assures technical support. Review product documentation and collateral. Ensure successful product releases based on company priorities.

Work involves some problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. Gaining competence in own area and acquiring a higher level understanding of role, processes and procedures. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 0-2 years of previous software engineering or related experience.
