Description

What You’ll Do                                                                                               

Be the vital piece of the puzzle that connects us to the millions of businesses that need our help to evolve in the implementation of Financial Crime and Compliance Management solutions. Reporting directly to the Project Manager/Project Director, the Technical Analyst will work closely with both Technical and Functional subject matter experts from the bank side, and other team members on the Oracle side, to successfully deploy the OFSAA FCCM (Transaction Filtering, Customer Screening, AML) solutions (details available FCCM (Financial Crime and Compliance Management) You will:

  • Conduct analysis of customer’s requirements and fitment into the Banking solution provided by Oracle.
  • Developing programs as per specifications/requirements given by oracle/customer within planned schedule
  • Using defined standards/ tools/ processes to achieve deliverable that meet quality expectations of oracle/client.
  • Documenting all work in accordance with agreed standards/ processes applicable for  Oracle  / customer.
  • Adhere to defined Change Control Process of oracle/customer. Comply with Oracle /customer audit/ compliance requirements
  • Participate and support banking projects for clients across Europe

Required Skills/Experience

  • High communication, team working, organizational and problem solving skills
  • Ability to understand customer’s requirements and convert those in high quality technical and functional specification documents
  • Previous experience in SQL and PL/SQL development (essential skill)
  • Knowledge on Java or any other programing languages (C++, Python, R, etc.)  
  • You have either previous experience in /knowledge of Web applications development using Java & J2EE (important skills)
  • Knowledge in Oracle DataBase Systems (essential skill)
  • Javascript, HTML, CSS (important skills)
  • Experience with REST APIs
  • DevOps (Jenkins) will be a plus
  • Financial Sector Knowledge will be a plus
  • You have a Bachelors degree in IT, Mathematics, Physic (M.Sc will be a plus)
Intermediate consulting position operating independently with some assistance and guidance to provide quality work products to a project team or customer that comply with Oracle methodologies and practices. Performs standard duties and tasks with some variation to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer specifications.

Standard assignments are accomplished without assistance by exercising independent judgment, within defined policies and processes, to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements.

2-5 years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
