As a member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and building Kubernetes controllers for MySQL and our flagship HA solution, MySQL InnoDB Cluster. You will also help build our next generation continuous integration and distributed systems testing framework to be used by QA engineers and developers alike to test and simulate our products in complex and realistic scenarios.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS
10 years experience developing Python and/or Golang software.
In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes; how to use it, how it works and how to extend it with Operators, CRDs etc.
Strong knowledge and proficiency programming systems software for Linux, as well as TCP/IP networking code.
Experience working on a modern production environment built on virtualization and containerization (Docker etc) technologies in a DevOps, SRE or similar position
Experience with Ansible/Puppet/Chef, shell scripting and other automation tools.
BS, MS or PhD degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
