Native Notions Ecological Landscapes is currently hiring a landscape foreman. Be a part of a growing landscape company; working throughout the Belgrade Lakes region. Position is 9 months, with year around employment available to motivated and committed individuals. Position will become available early to mid April. We are looking for a hardworking, detail oriented individual that is capable of leading small crews on a variety of different landscape construction projects. Applicant must have a minimum of 2 years experience in landscaping. Responsibilities include installing hardscapes (natural stone and pavers), operating different types of equipment associated with landscape installation, lawn restoration, pruning, grading, installing mulch and plant material, and all other facets of landscape construction. This position requires heavy manual labor and the ability to operate equipment. A clean driving record and the ability to haul truck and trailer required. Pay depends on experience and work ethic with starting pay ranging from $16-$22. Benefits available after a full year of employment. Hard workers will be rewarded!

Minimum Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience landscaping
• Have attention to detail and take pride in your work
• Be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to operate heavy equipment; mini-excavator, skid steer, tractor
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to problem solve
• Have a good attitude and a willingness to learn
• Work in a team environment
• Be able to lift 50lbs or more
• Valid Maine driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to drive truck and trailer
• Must have own transportation
• Must be prepared to work in all weather conditions
• Be self motivated
