Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Cloud is an industry-leading SaaS suite of products that helps organizations across the world to model and plan across finance, HR, supply chain, and sales, streamline the financial close process, and drive better decisions. EPM Cloud is deployed in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) platform. Our team is responsible for the common software platform on which all EPM Cloud suite of products run. This includes automated provisioning, configuration, deployment, diagnostics, monitoring, capacity planning, security, high availability, disaster recovery, etc.

What you’ll do

You will work in the product development and diagnostics team on the EPM Cloud common software platform.

Your tasks include:

• Design and develop ML algorithms for various use cases in EPM Cloud.
• Analyze the data from the whole EPM Cloud fleet to recognize patterns and create predictions.
• Use these patterns and predictions to create reports for internal usage and for customers to help them succeed.
• Document the design and project proposals.
• Come up with innovative ideas for continuous improvements to the product.

Required Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science
• 5+ years of Machine Learning experience
• Strong Python skills
• 1+ year of developing Java-based applications
• Basic knowledge of Linux platform
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• MS in Computer Science
• 3+ years of developing Java-based applications
• Experience on Linux platform
• Strong scripting skills in addition to Python (e.g., Bash, Groovy, Perl)

 

Short description:

Looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to work on challenging, fast-paced environments, with the following skills: Machine Learning, Python, Java, HTML, JavaScript, Linux,  troubleshooting and problem solving.

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
