Your Role and Responsibilities

Currently we are looking for Mainframe Storage Administrator.
 
As Mainframe Storage Administrator you will be mainly responsible for:
 

• Provide Extensive “hands on” data storage and SAN knowledge expertise
• Assist in maintaining uptime of storage infrastructure and customer solutions
• Contribute towards the on-going development of the core storage strategy
• Technical assistance to on-going projects
• Liaising with other technical teams such as systems administrators, providing best practice advice and guidance
• Planning, management and execution of installations, upgrades and maintenance fixes for storage & backup management software and hardware platforms
• Performance troubleshooting in cascade FICON environments

• z/OS HW
• IODF and matrix knowledge

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• IBM V7000
• IBM TS3310
• IBM Virtual I/O server knowledge with PowerHA
