Program Description
The Oracle + NetSuite Business Development Representative (BDR) Program is an early in career recruitment program designed to prepare joiners for an exciting and rewarding sales career at the company. This entry-level program gives BDRs hands-on experience sourcing and qualifying leads while building product knowledge and sales skills. Participants will be tasked with challenging assignments where they will acquire product and industry knowledge, develop sales and presentation skills, and gain technical and project management experience. BDRs will work closely with their team, direct manager, and sales leadership to learn the business strategy of a world-class software organization with the ultimate goal of placement into a full-time, quota-bearing position at NetSuite.
About the Opportunity:
- You will recruit, onboard, manage, and mentor a team of Business Development Representatives with a focus on building key inside sales skills including strategic prospecting, advanced lead qualification, objection handling, and first call meeting scheduling - Your team serves as the initial sales engagement to our potential new customers
- Your mission is to nurture and develop NetSuite’s next generation of successful sales professionals coaching them on sales process, executive soft skills, and NetSuite product knowledge fundamentals in a collaborative environment
- This is an ideal role for a candidate looking to take their sales experience to the next level by making a critical impact in the professional development of new reps at the beginning of their sales careers
- In addition to driving an inside sales training program, you will be responsible for running the day-to-day operations of the team, holding weekly one-on-ones/team meetings with your direct reports, and developing creative incentive plans to keep the BDRs engaged/inspired throughout their tenure
- While tracking and monitoring individual and team metrics, you will drive the team towards collective lead generation quotas/goals

About You:
- Native level Spanish, fluency in English (additional languages such as Portuguese advantageous)
- Strong background in SaaS sales and/or people management
- Intelligent, motivated, and competitive with a “roll-up-the-sleeves” and “get the job done” mindset
- Excellent communication (verbal, written, and presentation) and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
- A regular on your company’s top producer list and have the stats to back it up
- Known for your tremendous work ethic, laser focus, and dedication
- Passionate about mentoring emerging sales talent
- Experience giving both positive and constructive feedback
- Enjoy learning technology and can translate that into value for prospects + build repeatable sales frameworks for new rep success

Manages a team of telesales business development representatives for a territory/region. Provides daily operations management of inbound and outbound call response and lead qualification functions. Creates product, sales, and business function training programs. Coordinates marketing (direct mail, advertising, etc.) activities with Marketing organizations. Responsible for coaching, performance management, and career development of staff. Participates in the recruiting process and provides hiring recommendations to senior management. Manages budget. Provides support to marketing and sales programs.
Leads a specialized area which may have diverse functional elements. Frequently interacts with supervisors and/or functional peer group managers. May interact with senior management. Experience qualifying prospects and customers and an understanding of the sales cycle process. Experience training professional sales staff, University degree in Business or equivalent. Previous management experience. Successful sales track record. Strong Oracle product knowledge preferred 5 years sales experience.
