Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Manager (Long Term Business), the incumbent will assume the following:

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform prudential supervision of authorized life insurers and/or major insurance groups
  • Participate in conducting inspection and monitoring life insurers' compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Other duties as assigned by senior management to facilitate the administration of the statutory functions of IA

 

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in accounting, actuarial science or finance, or related disciplines, preferably qualified actuary or CPA. Partially qualified actuary or CPA may also be considered
  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in accounting, actuarial, audit, finance, life insurance, or regulatory fields
  • Knowledge of the local regulatory requirements, insurance products and industry practices is preferable
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good command of English and Chinese
