Reporting to the Senior Manager (Market Conduct), the incumbent will assume the following:

Key Responsibilities 

• Participate in investigation, prosecution and disciplinary proceedings of possible breaches of the Insurance Ordinance and related legislations, and misconduct of insurance intermediaries and authorized insurers

• Perform other duties as assigned by senior management to facilitate the administration and performance of the statutory functions of IA

Requirements

• A degree or professional qualification in accounting, law, finance and banking, insurance, economics, business administration or an appropriate field
• Minimum 5 years' relevant work experience in audit, legal, compliance, law enforcement or regulatory field
• Knowledge of the local regulatory requirements, insurance products, industry practices and market dynamics relating to the insurance business
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
