Your Role and Responsibilities

The IBM Marketing team is seeking a self-starting, innovative and enthusiastic Performance Marketing leader to join our fast-growing team building the next generation multicloud marketplace platform.
 
As the Performance Marketing Leader, you will be responsible for driving & executing the demand generation strategy for our next generation multicloud marketplace platform.  In this role you will lead and execute end-to-end marketing campaigns that are client-centric, data-driven and always evolving to meet business demand. You will partner across functions to develop campaigns that include relevant audience content, a strong digital experience, & paid media plan to target and progress potential clients throughout their buyer’s journey with a focus on meeting marketing contribution to pipeline targets.

Primary responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
  • Develop a clear, insight-driven vision of the target buyer profile.
  • Translate knowledge of the industry, the buyer audience, and marketing objectives into strategic marketing campaign plans that deliver awareness, responses, sales leads, and revenue for the business.
  • Design end-to-end campaigns that engage customers and prospects in a fully integrated buyer experience across digital, social and event channels.
  • Understand demand generation targets and deliver demand generation initiatives that drive in-bound responses and leads for sales teams.
  • Apply strategies to assist Sales in achieving results from up-sell, cross-sell and pipeline progression initiatives.
  • Orchestrate with content, event, digital, analyst and other teams to drive a superior customer experience and achieve demand generation outcomes.
  • Lead the charge in creating compelling, relevant and differentiated content across all stages of the buyer journey.
  • Partner with paid media team to reach target audiences with relevant content.
  • Apply analytical approaches and tools to infuse intelligence into campaigns and act on opportunities for campaign performance optimization.
  • Apply agile methodologies to rapidly accomplish work and optimize campaign outcomes.
  • Demonstrate operational excellence in teamwork, budget management, and overall performance management.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 5-7 years of product marketing experience in enterprise software/services.
  • Experience with content development (web content, sales enablement, presentations, whitepapers etc.)
  • Very strong writing skills essential – frequent writing is a requirement
  • Exceptional communication skills both verbally and in writing across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively with a broad set of internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience with Agile tools & methodologies a plus
  • Experience working in a highly matrixed global organization a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; MBA a plus
Candidate must be able to work onsite in one of the following locations: Cambridge/Littleton, MA or Atlanta, GA
