DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION\:

Oracle Manufacturing and Distribution is responsible for electronic and physical distribution of software, hardware and marketing products to Oracle’s internal and external customers worldwide. JOB DESCRIPTION\:

Responsible for receiving, shipping, inventory, storing, distributing of materials and parts. Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory in the system. Process orders according to priority set by Supervisor/Lead in order to meet customer requirements. Process and assemble kits. Perform cycle count and resolve inventory discrepancies. Perform data entry and system transactions using Oracle applications. Ensure highest quality product deliveries within established lead times. Provide daily status to management. Assists team with projects as needed. Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. Keep warehouse clean and safe and follow all safety guidelines.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\:

Computer literate and proficient in PC skills. High School with 1-2 years of college. 1-3 years of experience in high volume warehouse environment. General warehouse experience is preferred. Must be able to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Regular, reliable and predictable attendance necessary for adequate scheduling and coverage. Ability to constantly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs; occasionally up to 100 lbs. Ability to drive an automatic vehicle (truck or van) and operate any material handling equipment (forklift, order picker, pallet jack etc.) as needed.

Responsible for receiving, storing, and shipping of inventory material. Assembles kitted inventory. Provides measurements of warehouse processes such as cycle counting. Ensures processes meet or exceed ISO needs. May lift heavy items and may operate a forklift. Assists with warehouse projects as needed.

Works on assignments that are routine in nature where limited judgment is needed. Normally receives detailed instructions on all work. Work involves minimal problem resolution following detailed instructions. Computer literate. BA/BS degree. 0 - 1 years of experience in high volume warehouse environment. Proficient in shipping processes and specifications both domestically and internationally. Self motivated. Attention to detail.
