MANAGER, COMMERCIAL FINANCE
LANCÔME – LUXE DIVISION
- The primary roles and
responsibilities of the Lancôme Commercial team are as follows:
- Management and analysis of the Company’s Retail and Nets sales
- Management and understanding of our retailer’s inventory through stock equations
- Participation in Sales forecasting and working with demand planning (DP) to ensure that financial projections are aligned with DP
- Minoration management. A crucial part of the Commercial’s charge is the strict management of all deductions between Gross and Net Sales including Returns, Promotional allowances and other minorations. Discreet ROI modeling required to support business spends
- Participation and approval within the LEAP system of deduction approval/management
- Gross Margin planning and management
- Additionally the role will require other non- Commercial finance duties including financial reporting and other special projects as required.
- Accounting/Sales/Operations, IT, and Marketing teams to ensure strategic collaboration and alignment within business parameters.
· The Finance manager will be expected to maintain strong business and internal controls to support Company results and comply with Company Norms
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Finance; MBA a plus.
· 3- 5 yrs of finance experience (Commercial experience a plus)
· Strong budgeting, forecasting, and analysis experience required, with previous P&L experience
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Broad business acumen and problem solving skills.
· Ability to work in a highly networked and collaborative work environment
· Well-developed negotiation and influencing skills
· A self-starter able to adapt quickly to changes in priorities and multi-task multiple projects
· Strong computer/system skills required. Advanced Proficiency in MS Suite applications including Excel, Word, and Power Point; specifically advanced Excel skills are a must. (Knowledge/experience with SAP a plus)
