What Cloud Solutions Needs\:

Cloud Solutions team is looking for an ambitious, talented, energetic, and self-motivated principal software developer for Oracle Cloud Solution Applications (CSA). Our team is a driven development organization, developing the applications that support all Subscription Billing and Customer engagement to the Cloud.

In this role you will be immersed in and exposed to complex systems and their integration as Oracle cloud subscription data travels to multiple systems from its inception. Your role is to enable internal and external customers to manage the lifecycle of their cloud subscriptions. The team is building the application to process and manage Big Data for Oracle cloud subscriptions and you will be key to this effort. The CSA application processes the majority of the Oracle cloud subscriptions revenue.

You will be responsible for designing, building and deploying services, monitoring complex systems, managing high volume transactions and their integration with other applications.  You'll be able to identify problem before they occur, while also guiding junior developers globally. The ideal candidate is a proven hands-on developer using any web technologies, libraries such as React, JQuery, Angular to release high quality software products following continuous integration and deployment.

What you will be doing

·      Being part of a brand new team which own the solution (including backend and mobile frontend)

·      Collaborate with other professionals to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software or applications

·      Write automated unit, integration, and performance tests that ensure product quality

·      Work on green field product, no single line of code is existing yet – part of the Oracle Cloud Solutions portfolio

·      Write automated test cases and adopt clean coding principals.

·      Build product for mobile platforms by Oracle JET and React native framework

·      Work closely to UX designers

·      Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues

·      Troubleshoot end-user issues in the product

·      Design and implement hotfixes and patches to resolve issues in the product.

·      Releasing software continuously (CI/CD) 

·      Getting familiar and using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (IaaS, PaaS)

·      Work with Technologies like\: Oracle JET, JQuery, React, React Native, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (PaaS), Git

Requirements

·      Have several years of experience and working knowledge of any JavaScript library (JQuery, React, Angular)

·      Have several years of experience in site building (HTML5, CSS, SCSS)

·      Understanding of clean coding principles

·      Having the practice of B/T DD, able to develop and create automatic tests for continuous integration purposes

·      Knowledge of agile working practices

·      Familiar with any IDEs like Webstorm, VS Code

·      Knowledge of any mobile development framework (Cordova, React Native) is a big plus.

·      Have any experience in User Experience design is a big plus

·      Have any backend development experiences is a plus (especially in Java)

·      Working experience with Cloud technologies like OpenStack, Amazon Web Services is a plus.

· Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, in English.

· BS or equivalent in computer science/engineering or relevant field. MS or equivalent in computer science/engineering will be desired.
