Account Manager / Channel Relationship Manager

Responsibilities:

 

·       Collaborate closely with two of our Key Channel Partners in New Zealand to develop strategies for our top customers.

·       Manage a portfolio of existing NetSuite customers throughout New Zealand.

·       Cultivate relationships with decision-makers at all levels within our key customer organizations.

·       Drive annual customer spend growth through in-depth analysis of customer business requirements.

·       Achieve and exceed sales quotas by partnering with the channel to renew assigned accounts, sell additional modules, and offer services to expand NetSuite's footprint within customer organizations.

·       Coordinate go-to-market plans with our partners to expand their customer base.

·       Work closely with internal presales and professional services teams to secure opportunities.

·       Develop industry-specific knowledge and expertise and effectively communicate the value proposition of all NetSuite offerings.

·       Cultivate key relationships across NetSuite globally to support our key customers.

·       Generate, manage, and forecast the sales pipeline in alignment with monthly and quarterly targets.

·       Conduct weekly face-to-face meetings with customers.

·       Drive customer social events.

·       Expand the contact base within customers and explore opportunities across new business lines.

 

Qualifications/Skills:

 

·       A genuine tenacity to support an existing partner network and their customer base while driving sales opportunities.

·       Proven track record of strong sales performance.

·       Demonstrated ability to assist and grow key accounts.

·       Experience in consultative solution-based selling.

·       Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel.

·       Desirable experience in selling to C-level executives and business owners.

·       Familiarity with structured and methodical sales processes.

·       Ability to have direct conversations about return on investment.

·       Previous account management and territory planning experience is a must.

·       Confident communicator proficient in using the Microsoft Suite.

·       Team player and collaborator.

·       Willingness to proactively engage with our partners and customers through phone calls and face-to-face interactions.

·       Strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency.

·       Open to candidates from various industries, such as software, telecommunications, media, recruitment, etc.

·       Willingness to travel regularly throughout New Zealand to meet with customers and partners.

Develops third party sales channel and ensures partner achieve Oracle sales targets in the General Business space.

As a Channel Sales Representative you will pull partners into Oracle business opportunities and manage third party transactions resulting from the relationship. Identify and develop channel partners committed to selling Oracle products. Facilitate joint selling between channel partners and direct sales team. Increase revenue from partner sources and market share through a leverage partnering model. Identify and develop joint "go-to-market" strategies and lead generation opportunities. Provides accurate and timely management information and revenue forecasts. May educate partners in Oracle commercial practices. Maintains an understanding of Oracle technology and articulates Oracle propositions to partners and their customers. Manage transaction contracts, business practices, and deal booking issues. Work with marketing to plan marketing events for partners.

Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years field sales experience within the high technology industry. Previous marketing experience desired. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Negotiating skills and ability to influence. Knowledge of Oracle field sales cycle and partner program. Ability to travel as needed. Bachelor degree or equivalent.
