Job Description

We are hiring in Singapore and is looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals with strong business acumen and exceptional sales ability to join our direct sales team as Channel Sales Manager.

 

To be successful in this role, you must have excellent sales and closing skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to multi-task, and work well in a fast paced environment. You will be responsible for managing channel partners’ business planning and partners’ full sales life cycle. If you have proven experience in sales management and exceeding quota — we want you!

 

Responsibilities:

 

 

  • Identify partners that add value to existing channel ecosystem and organize the Channel Recruitment team to recruit them, and identify existing channel partners that can be developed to attain higher achievement and lead the Channel Development team and Enablement team to upskill them.

 

  • Develop strategic territory plan for achieving annual quota and business growth by hitting your monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets working through channel partners.

 

  • Identify and develop joint go-to-market strategies and lead generation activities with channel partners with support from NetSuite Channel Marketing Team.
  • Direct and coach partners on successful engagement of business opportunities and manage negotiation helping partners win deals at optimum value, and providing accurate forecast

 

  • Conduct regularly Business reviews with partners’ C-levels and weekly sales cadence with partners’ sales leaders and sales rep to provide accurate sales forecast, increase revenue, share of revenue and market share from partner ecosystems

 

  • Educate partners in Oracle commercial practices. Maintains a good understanding of Oracle technologies and articulates Oracle value propositions to partners and their customers

 

  • Engage with prospective clients with the channel partners at key milestone events such as executive briefing, discovery, demo, proposal walk through and closing where necessary to ensure partners’ excellent execution of sales process to ensure Oracle NetSuite is the solution of choice, via online and in-person customer meetings.

 

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • Fluent in English and a plus if can speak Mandarin.

 

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in ERP or Application Software sales with partner or principal organizations.

 

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, experienced and excel in selling to C-level executives and senior management from SME to conglomerate / MNC accounts;

 

  • Proven performance track record in meeting sales quotas.
Develops third party sales channel and ensures partner achieve Oracle sales targets in the General Business space.

As a Channel Sales Representative you will pull partners into Oracle business opportunities and manage third party transactions resulting from the relationship. Identify and develop channel partners committed to selling Oracle products. Facilitate joint selling between channel partners and direct sales team. Increase revenue from partner sources and market share through a leverage partnering model. Identify and develop joint "go-to-market" strategies and lead generation opportunities. Provides accurate and timely management information and revenue forecasts. May educate partners in Oracle commercial practices. Maintains an understanding of Oracle technology and articulates Oracle propositions to partners and their customers. Manage transaction contracts, business practices, and deal booking issues. Work with marketing to plan marketing events for partners.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years field sales experience to include 3 years channel sales experience. Strong sales/marketing skills including needs analysis, business justification, and closing methodologies. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Negotiating skills and ability to influence. Knowledge of Oracle field sales cycle and partner program. travel as needed. Bachelor degree or equivalent.
