Your Role and Responsibilities

Key accountabilities include:

• Manage Incident, Change & Problem tickets to achieve agreed KPI’s.
• Ensure proactive maintenance activities are carried out to achieve network stability, agreed performance metrics and reduce customer impacting events.
• Ensure the delivery of customer MAC’s and, new capacity and products & services as set out in Networks’ Business Plan.

You be successful in the role you are expected to:

• Be reliable & take ownership for end results, as well as the experience of impacting internal & external customers on the way.
• Collaborate with colleagues effectively and inspires others to ensure achievement to of the common goal
• Have in-depth knowledge of Telco technologies and products & services.
• Have at least 2 years IP Transport experience in an operational environment
• Have expert knowledge of IP Transport network   architecture and high level design principles with excellent fault analysis capability.

Introduction

As Network Engineer, you will be providing technical expertise in all aspects of the Vodafone IP Transport Network ensuring maximum network performance and availability.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Technical / professional qualifications required:

• Relevant tertiary qualification.
• Juniper JNCIA or equivalent Cisco CCNA or equivalent F5 (APM, LTM , GTM & iRules) experience

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
