Your Role and Responsibilities
As Network Support Engineer, you will be responsible for configuration and execution of network changes on internal and customer facing network (routing and switching) infrastructure and application (firewall and load balancer) devices.- You will work on multiple simultaneous projects supporting innovative cloud technologies and configuration in conjunction with other technical groups, acting as key member in Service Delivery/Operations
- You are responsible for ensuring the overall availability of IBM Cloud Network infrastructure. This includes monitoring system availability 24x7, execution and operational support of the steady state environment – incidents and changes using Remedy ticketing system

Whether it’s our Engineering teams that need a test environment or our software running in production, we are seeking skilled systems management professionals ready for the challenge.Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Minimum 6+ years of experience in IT domain
Expertise in configuration of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls (Cisco ASA or Palo Alto) and load balancers (Cisco ACE, Citrix NetScaler or F5 preferred)
Proficient in configuration of GRE, IPSec, OSPF, EIGRP & BGP
Working knowledge of routing and switching technologies, 802.1q, STP, RSTP, MSTP, VLAN, MPLS, VRF
Solid understanding Firewall management, preferably with Cisco ASA firewalls running multi-context
In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP packet analysis, using Wireshark or raw packet captures using tcpdump
Minimum of three years of experience managing large scale multitenant WAN/LAN networks.
Proven communication skills - written and oral
Prior experience in Vendor co-ordination is needed
Willingness to work 24*7 support
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
Preferable to have CCNA or any other Network certification
Scripting or Automation knowledge is desirable
