Oracle is looking for dynamic and creative Technical Account Managers to be part of its Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Asia Pacific Team. This position is based in Seoul Korea.

Your responsibilities will include\:

  • Provide direction and specialist knowledge in applying Oracle cloud technology to client business challenges. Exposure to prior cloud deployments in finance, telecommunications or manufacturing is desired.

  • Provide support and mentoring to customers, identify new workloads for deployment on OCI, and foster a great experience on the Oracle Cloud for our Key Accounts.

  • A trusted presence and thought leader; comfortable speaking to all levels of management within a large customer account.

  • Assist with high profile service request escalations. Provide feedback to OCI development on the customer experience and gather feedback on new desired features and capabilities.

  • Develop and deliver high quality presentations and demonstrations to customers, partners and at industry events.

  • Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall Oracle solutions.

  • Develop, acquire and manage outstanding customer relationships, turning this success into new customer sales references.

  • Evangelize messaging on PaaS IaaS and deliver the vision of building and migrating enterprise applications, software and services to the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure platform.

You will leverage your understanding of cloud and enterprise architectures to identify suitable use cases (e.g. TOGAF); identifying the relationships between business services, information, applications and infrastructure assets. These can be expressed as something basic such as the lift and shift of an Oracle application to the OCI platform; it could be a Cloud Native workload involving technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, or perhaps inspiring a customer to move a GPU intensive engineering or finance HPC application to the OCI platform.

As an expert you should have the following capabilities\:

  • Good understanding of cloud industry and technology trends, usage trends, competitive buying behaviors in the enterprise coupled with basic knowledge of the procurement process.

  • High degree of competence in Cloud architectures and solution engineering.

  • Broad systems experience such as Cloud Native (Docker & Kubernetes), SAP, Oracle, Microsoft and custom Java/.NET applications, Open Source tooling and operating systems, or experience in software architecture in HPC (auto, industrial, rendering, GPU), IoT, Mobile Application Development, or data analytics is desired.

  • Past experience on legacy Cloud Computing platforms is preferred.  Current working knowledge of AWS or Azure platforms is a bonus.

  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a technical specialist or consultant in Customer-facing roles, in enterprise application deployment or devops, with special emphasis on cloud, networking, application services, big data and distributed computing.

  • Should be comfortable with open source software, software defined networking, and software defined data center concepts (eg. Terraform)

  • Should be able to run and manage proof of concepts, demo, build simple/sample apps etc.

  • Good communication skills to articulate the message and vision clearly

  • Experience working with sales teams, and an understanding of sales methodologies is a plus.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (Korean & English) are required\: needs analysis, positioning.

  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems.

  • Ability to travel as needed.

  • BS degree or equivalent; advanced degree desirable but not required.

!|!Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.

As a member of the product development division, you will specify, design and implement major changes to existing software architecture. Define project needs. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to ensure consistency, testability and portability across products in general.

Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 or more years of software engineering or related experience.!|!
