This position carries quarterly and annual quotas and is an inside sales role.
Preferred Skills\:
- Aggressive self starter with a great attitude and strong organizational skills
- 3 years inside sales closing experience (preferred technology industry)
- Ability to work under pressure of quota and adapt to a changing environment
- Manage/overcome prospect objections
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A passion for technology and ability to relate technology to business
- Experience selling Federal Agencies, Higher Ed and Public Sector a plus
Specific responsibilities include\:
- Manage and close Oracle sales cloud technology opportunities through opportunity management, account resource allocation, account strategy and planning, and forecasting
- Sell the value of Oracle technology to executive decision makers
- Drive sales over the internet through web based discovery calls and presentations
- Increase pipeline through demand generation and targeted campaigns to the Oracle Applications install base accounts
- Collaborate with the Field Sales team on sales strategy
- Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of products and technologies, competitors, industry trends
Preferred Qualifications\:
- BS or BA degree
- Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles, with a track record of successful revenue attainment
- Demonstrated knowledge of software sales
- Excellent communication/negotiating/closing skills with customers/prospects
As an Internet Sales Representative you will sell products and services to an assigned geographic or national account base territory to achieve assigned objectives. Generates sales leads as well as closing the sales on line or by phone. Utilizes inbound and/or outbound calls to pursue sales. Develops account penetration strategies, and closes business . Responsible for understanding Oracle's product offerings and competitive issues. Identifies new business opportunities by creating and implementing territory campaigns with management assistance. Liaise with customer contacts for the purpose of managing the customer relationship, identifying new opportunities, and selling Oracle products and services. Participates as a team member on sales teams including field sales, support and education sales and sales consulting.
Duties and tasks are varied and are complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. Contacts are within the organization and with external customers. May have project lead role. 5 years business experience. Proven ability to manage complex sales cycle, with a track record of successful revenue attainment. Excellent communication/negotiating/closing skills with customers/prospects. Typically bachelor degree in Business or Computer Science or equivalent.
