Job Description

Oracle Data Cloud (ODC) helps advertisers, publishers, and ad tech companies succeed by connecting their media to the world's largest platform of 1\:1 offline purchasing data and the broadest set of online data. Only ODC leverages over $2 trillion in consumer spending to target and measure the effectiveness of digital advertising across all key verticals, including Retail, CPG, Automotive, Technology, Telecom, and Financial Services. As Product Marketing Manager for our Activation business, you will be responsible for product marketing activities for Oracle Data Cloud's Contextual products. You will collaborate with your team members in launching new solutions in market, creating the positioning, and aligning messaging to target personas in market in line with ODC's overall sales objectives. Attention to detail, an eye for quality, and the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits are crucial. In your role as a Product Marketing Manager, Activation, you will be an expert in our products and our client's needs, transferring that knowledge to the sales channel in the form of value-based narratives and sales tools.

 

Candidate must be a forward-thinking product marketer who has interfaced with sales, account management, and product teams. With a background in the advertising technology industry and experience working across a variety of contextual, measurement, and audience solutions is preferred. They should understand the important features and functionality for customers, the marketer, and publisher use cases supported by the Oracle Data Cloud solutions and the competitive landscape, including strengths and weaknesses.

 

This position is a crucial role within a highly impactful product marketing team focused on elevating ODC's products to their fullest potential within the rapidly evolving advertising technology world.

 
Key Responsibilities\:
  • Product Positioning & Evangelism – Develop narratives and content that clearly articulate value, benefit, and differentiation of our Contextual Intelligence solutions.
  • Sales Partnership– Communicate the value proposition of our products to the go-to-market teams and create, maintain, and distribute assets and improve sales efficiency and reduce overhead throughout the sales cycle.
  • Product Launch – Partner with product, marketing, and go-to-market to support the launch of new products and features.
  • GTM and Product Strategic Partnership – Partner with go-to-market and product leadership to build and refresh a centralized strategy, identifying priorities that will most effectively help drive the organization to meet its goals.
  • Market Feedback – Collect and centralize feedback from customers and the market in general, through internal interviews and in-marketing presence, to better understand client's needs in the service of informing our product roadmap and improving our materials and strategy.
  • Marketing Collaboration – Partner with the other teams/functions within ODC marketing to ensure product positioning is amplified throughout the marketing funnel for target personas. Includes coordination and creation of collateral, blog posts, speaking and event opportunities, and generally supporting Oracle's thought leadership efforts.
  • GTM Training Support – Support sales and account management training to represent Oracle Data Cloud solutions through the assets created by product marketing.
 
 
Required Skills and Experience
  • 3 years of product marketing experience.
  • Understanding of the Ad Tech ecosystem and all of the entities that are utilized by publishers and brands, including brand safety and contextual solutions, advertising measurement, audience data, and ad delivery platforms such as ad servers, SSPs and DSPs.
  • Incredible storytelling skills with the ability to translate to presentations and internal documentation
  • Demonstrated success in a sales support role, showing a strong ability to work within a team and gain alignment across functions and organizations.
  • Demonstrated track record of building successful client interactions and client-facing materials and presentations.
  • Strong client-facing communication and relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrated track record of being able to understand products deeply and then articulate that into client value.
  • Executive presence, strong verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to self-motivate, work in teams, and be flexible within a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Knowledge of algorithms and modeling techniques a plus.
  • Preferred locations are Denver, Chicago, San Francisco, and New York.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
!|!Development and implementation of business plans, marketing strategy, and forecasts for a product/service or vertical market.

As a product analyst you will participate in every stage of the product life cycle to ensure product meets the needs of users. Drive the implementation of programs in support of the marketing strategy, business plans, and forecasts for assigned product lines. Maintains current status of customer specifications for existing and future products. Identify, evaluate, and recommend marketing opportunities in support of product line objectives. Drive product functionality delivering high quality product documentation. Lead products through scheduled release assisting others to manage commitments and resources. Measure and report progress and review deliverables.

Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. Demonstrated product/project management experience. Excellent written and verbal communication. Demonstrated product/project management experience. Thrives in fast paced environment Team player. Experience using or implementing Oracle, SAP, or Peoplesoft applications. 5 years related experience and BA/BS degree in marketing or technical major preferred.
