Job Description
Overall Objective/Purpose
Provides consulting and architectural advisory services to clients, as a specialist in the Integration domain. The candidate should be a highly proficient software engineering professional with a good understanding of SOA and Integration patterns, Integration design and development, backed up by considerable (5+ years) customer facing implementation experience.
Responsibilities of Role
- Gather integration requirements; plan, coordinate and participate in workshops, solution refinement, development activities, and support the testing of integrations
- Provide domain expertise in integration
- Exhibit confidence and ease when interacting with technical management, middle and senior-level managers (client and internal); ability to use indirect influence to build consensus and support for ideas
- Demonstrate professional communication skills including presenting in front of clients, client workshops and regional events; development of proposal content, articulation of methodology, and formal written deliverables
- Develop and maintain an up to date knowledge of relevant Oracle products and services within rapidly evolving Cloud Security offerings
- Network and Collaborate by sharing knowledge and best practices within the team and cross lines of business
Core competencies, knowledge and experience
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in Oracle Integration Solutions, e.g. Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
- Experience with other integration technologies considered favourable include Oracle SOA, Oracle BPM, Goldengate and ODI
- Must have delivered at least tier-1, full life cycle implementation
- Must be capable of designing integrated solutions and architectures in heterogeneous environments involving Oracle SaaS, PaaS and 3rd party products, with specific knowledge of common SaaS integration designs.
- Must be proficient with application/internet gateways, core Java programming, JMS, Oracle SQL, caching techniques, encryption standards.
- Lead Interactions with clients’ technical resources and management, ability to plan for and facilitate workshops, influence key decision makers, act independently to develop best-practice, innovative solutions.
- Understanding of Agile methodology and general SDLC, as well as DevOps and CI/CD concepts and tools. Ability to own the deliverables of a complete scrum team as a technical domain expert.
- Expertise in quick evaluation of product fitment for given requirements, define future roadmap for cloud transformation programs, identify risks and define mitigations.

Mandatory Skills
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- Web services, REST/SOAP Services, XML, XSLT, WSDL, APIs
- Oracle PaaS Integration Platforms (SOA, OIC, ODI, Goldengate, VBCS)
- Oracle on-premise Integration (SOA, ODI, Goldengate)
- Demonstrated ability to convey a strong presence, maintain a professional image, and deal confidently with complex business problems in complex business environments
Preferential Skills
- Working knowledge of Dev Ops including continuous build / deployment
- Knowledge/Integration experience of at least one Oracle SaaS application (ERP, Financials, CX, SCM, HCM) - HCM EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
- Recent implementation experience using OIC including integration patterns with Oracle SaaS solutions.
- Oracle Certification, Agile Scrum certification or TOGAF
- Registration & Licensing Requirement (if applicable)
