Oracle Solaris Release Engineer Intern

We are looking for an Intern to join Oracle Solaris Release Engineering team. The candidate will join an existing team in Prague and will work on projects with other engineers from UK, Ireland, India, and US.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES\:

·        Compilation of Oracle Solaris from source code

·        Building and releasing Oracle Solaris packages and images

·        Automation and enhancements of CI/CD processes

 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS\:

·       Undergraduate, currently studying an Engineering/ Mathematics/ Natural Sciences degree or equivalent

·        Experience with UNIX/Linux operating system

·        Understanding of UNIX/Linux fundamentals, scripting and shell programming techniques

·        Experience with Python scripting

·        Working experience with UNIX/Linux compilation and Makefiles

·        Good English communication skills (oral and written)

 

PREFERRED SKILLS\:

·        Elementary knowledge of C or Java

·        Understanding of Continuous Integration and Delivery approach

·        Experience with Jenkins, Hudson, or any other CI tool

·        Reliability, multi-tasking and organizational skills
