The opening is with Applications Technology Group of Oracle E-Business Suite development organization. The position is based in Guadalajara, Mexico and it offers individual contributor role.

Applications Technology Group provides the foundation for whole of Oracle E-Business Suite. It is the team which develops and maintains components like Oracle Applications Framework (OAF) for UI Development, Integrated SOA Gateway (ISG) for webservice enablement, Life Cycle Management (LCM) products like Applications Management Pack (AMP) for managing enterprise applications etc.

We are looking for hands-on PLSQL & Java professionals with 5+ years of large & complex software development lifecycle experience. Following are the required skillsets.

Core Skills:

Must have:

• Excellent knowledge of SQL and PLSQL
• Thorough knowledge in RDBMS
• Proficient in database designing and development using Oracle Databases
• Excellent coding, debugging skills in PLSQL

Good to have:

• Experience in Database performance tuning
• Knowledge of Core Java, J2EE

Soft Skills:

• Excellent written & verbal communication, Interpersonal Skills to work in a global team

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
