POSITION: Event Porter
DEPARTMENT: Event Operations
HOURS OF SERVICE: less than 16 hours
EFFECTIVE DATE: December 17, 2021
HOURLY RATE OF PAY: $15.55 - $19.42

commitment to luxury service standards
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare rooms and tables for a variety of events
- Maintaining adequate supplies and/or equipment
- Assisting Kitchen and service staff
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience performing physically demanding work load
- Previous experience in a customer service-related position
- "Serving It Right" and “Food Safe” certification
- Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent and clean driver’s abstract
- Fluency in the English language, both written and verbal
- Excellent organizational skills and the capability of working well with minimal supervision
- A high level of responsibility and commitment
- A strong commitment to team work and exceeding guests' expectations
- Impeccable grooming and presentation
- Physical ability to perform the requirements of the job, including:
- Standing/Walking for extended periods of time
- Lifting and carrying heavy loads
NOTE: The position of Event Porter is physically demanding. The successful applicant must be in excellent physical condition and must be capable of standing/walking for extended periods of time and lifting and carrying heavy loads.
