Partner Account Manager (m/f/d)

An exciting opportunity within the Nordic Alliances and Channels sales team to drive growth for Oracle’s cloud business with and through Oracle partners in Sweden (and/or in the Nordics). The Partner Account Manager's primary focus is to increase the consumption of Oracle cloud infrastructure and platform services by working with our system integrator and service partners, and together with our cloud platform sales teams.


We are looking for a highly motivated, dynamic and experienced sales and partner business development professional for our Nordic team to drive impactful results within a complex matrix organization. The individual must operate at a high pace level and with a strong drive, and have excellent sales and presentation skills. Significant experience in cloud business and understanding of cloud technologies is required to succeed in the role.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Leading the Oracle Cloud engagement with our most strategic partners in Sweden (and potentially at the Nordic level)
  • Working with the partners to identify and progress opportunities through the sales cycle to the closure, implementation and consumption.
  • Responsibility for sales transactions and project implementations with partners covered.
  • Providing accurate and timely forecast for workload consumption.
  • Personally creating, developing and maintaining relationships at all levels within the partners with specific focus on C-level execs including CEO, CTO and CSO.
  • Demonstrating leadership in promoting and evangelizing the Oracle Cloud message, ensuring equivalent mindshare with major cloud competitors.
  • Developing excellent subject matter knowledge of the cloud ecosystem, understanding where Oracle strengths lie against our competition and being able to advise where Oracle can sit alongside or integrate with other hyper-scale vendors in multi-cloud environments.
  • Building business plans for all partners within the territory, measuring partner performance on a quarterly cycle against clearly defined actions and targets.
  • Ensuring that the partners move through the Modernized OPN partner program, achieving and maintaining Service Expertise in OCI.
  • Demonstrating excellent communication skills, also being able to articulate the partner capabilities internally within Oracle to regional sales leads.
  • Coordinating enablement and joint marketing activities
Builds long term, strategic relationships with named and vertical business alliance partners.

Facilitates the development of strategic marketing and new business plans for all assigned partners to meet or exceed assigned business goals. Works with Partners to identify opportunities and create demand through lead generation activities and target account selling strategies. Actively track joint sales pipeline and meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets. Develop and maintain relationships with global counterparts to leverage corporate initiatives and to ensure adherence to Alliances and Channel standards. Monitor partners business results, making recommendations for improvements to increase penetration for the strategic partners. Establish rules of engagement and operational escalation procedures to quickly identify and resolve issues.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Demonstrated track record developing and managing Global Partnerships and driving Partner account activity. Prefer strong analytical, sales channel and marketing skills. Prefer 8 years of related experience with a secondary education in Marketing or a related field.
