Your Role and Responsibilities

PeopleSoft HCM Functional Analyst/Lead position supporting PeopleSoft Federal HCM v9.2 for a large Federal Government client.  Candidate should have the ability to perform and lead PeopleSoft functional initiatives and subprojects with no direct supervision or direction.  Candidate should have strong knowledge and experience with PeopleSoft HCM and, preferably, experience with PeopleSoft Federal HCM. As a lead, the candidate should be able to coordinate activities of junior team members and client team members through initiatives and projects that are complex in nature.

You will use a mix of consultative skills, business knowledge, and technical expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into our clients' business environment and achieve business results.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Ability to pass the Dept of Veterans Affairs security and background check.
• 10+ years of experience working on PeopleSoft HCM engagements.
• 5+ years of experience in leading initiatives, special projects or large enhancements on PeopleSoft HCM engagements.
• Experience working with Federal Government or Defense agencies.
• Strong experience and abilities to support HR Business process transformation and improvement initiatives.
• Experience with Title 5 Government HR business rules and data processes.
• Ability to work with functional and technical team members on activities spanning all project phases.
• Understanding of PeopleSoft query and reporting tools.
• Understanding of setup tables, and integration between various PeopleSoft HCM modules.
• Experience providing functional support and direction to PeopleSoft technical team members when implementing new processes and functionality in PeopleSoft HCM.
• Knowledge of SDLC as it relates to PeopleSoft HCM implementations and production support.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• 5+ years experience with PeopleSoft v9.x Federal HCM.
• 5+ years subject matter expertise in Federal HR rules and business processes.
• Experience managing Software product Release activities.
• Experience with Agile development methods.
• Experience with time and labor and/or benefits administration modules in addition to Core HR.
• Capacity and willingness to learn complex business rules and apply them to system processes and support.
