Job Description
Preferred Qualifications
- Contribute as a team member on customer projects
- Utilize a structured project delivery methodology
- Consult with clients to understand their business requirements and map them to E-business suite
- Identify areas to automate Oracle E-Business suite to improve end user experience
- Design and develop creative scripted solutions leveraging the powerful features of the Functional Modules like SCM, GL, Payables, Receivables etc..
- Release management in cloud-based environments
- Work and interact with customers with their custom scripted solution in NetSuite
- Build successful customer relationships
- Strong experience in handling Oracle EBS DBA Technical work related to impact analysis, configuration, development of shell scrips, scheduling and monitoring jobs, production rollout, performance tuning, supporting testing activities and working with product vendors for product related issues.
- Identifying and addressing client needs, building solid relationships with clients, communicating with the client in an organized and knowledgeable manner.
- Familiarity with Oracle database 11g/12c/19c.
- Tuning of performance,capacity planning,and optimization of systems
- Control of databases, troubleshooting, administration, backup and recovery, maintenance of space in a 24x7 development environment.
- Review and troubleshooting SQL queries and recommendations for performance enhancement.
- WebLogic efficiency Tuning and Troubleshooting from the viewpoint of Oracle EBS
- Oracle Golden Gate and WebLogic Skills are highly desired
- An good understanding of support processes
- Strong analytical skills
- At least 8 plus years of experience with Oracle Database as an Apps Tech / Functional Consultant/Support Engineer
- BS and/or MS in Computer Science or equivalent preferred
- Oracle OCP Apps certification - Preferred
As an Advisory Systems Engineer, you are expected to be an expert member of the problem-solving/avoidance team and be highly skilled in solving extremely complex (often previously unknown), critical customer issues. Performing the assigned duties with a high level of autonomy and reporting to management on customer status and technical matters on a regular basis, you will be expected to work with very limited guidance from management. Further, the Advisory Systems Engineer is sought by customers and Oracle employees to provide expert technical advice.
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Because of substantial customer interfacing, a demonstrated ability to work with customers on an independent basis with exceptional communication skills, while consistently achieving the absolute highest levels of customer satisfaction. Both a Bachelor*s and Master*s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience 8 years related experience prior to taking this position. In addition, experience with Oracle*s core products, applications, and tools.
